Building Community

Community is built when neighbors come together, and this Thanksgiving season Barberton is seeing that spirit in action. Kavé Coffee Bar and Ignite Brewing Company have partnered to make sure local students are fed during the holiday break. On Wednesday, November 26, families can stop by Kavé’s front patio between 11am and 1pm to pick up a free bagged lunch.

About Kavé Coffee Bar

Kavé Coffee Bar, located in the heart of Barberton’s arts and entertainment district, has been a gathering place since 2014. Known for its cozy atmosphere, rooftop patio, and passion for showcasing local talent, Kavé has always been about more than coffee, it’s about building community. From open mic nights to art displays, it’s a space where neighbors connect and creativity thrives.

About Ignite Brewing Company

Ignite Brewing Company shares that same mission. Inspired by friendship and rooted in Barberton’s “Magic City” history. Their taproom is a hub for families and friends, and their values shine through in partnerships that strengthen the community.

Why This Partnership Matters

Together, these two local favorites are showing what it means to care for Barberton. Feeding students during Thanksgiving break is more than a gesture, it’s a reminder that no one in our town should feel left behind.

How to Participate

If your student could use a meal, stop by Kavé Coffee Bar on November 26. And even if you don’t need a lunch, consider visiting these businesses to support the people who are always finding ways to give back. Barberton pride is alive and well, one cup of coffee and one pint of beer at a time.
